Camping with Fishing

But why camp?

This is a fuller way to integrate with nature. We can better feel the scent of flowers, the sounds of nature and the climate of solidarity among the campers; it is very common to come back from a camp with new friends. If you’re still not convinced, I can assure you that the factor of economy also takes thousands of people to opt for a camping to a hostel. The values spent with a camp are far less than those charged by a hostel. Another reason is the lack of infrastructure, which causes that in many places camping is the only option.

Planning

From the beginning, it is necessary to define if your intention is to camp more rustic, such as those made in the middle of the forest, or a end of the week more peaceful with the kids on a camping. If you have never ventured out with tents, lamps and cookers, camping is a great start. Seek as much information as possible about the location, such as, for example, if there are points of energy, electricity, toilet, drinking water, restaurants (if you don’t want to cook), signal of mobile phone, public phone and etc. Do not forget to check the weather forecast and, if necessary, the map of the location.

Already in wild camps, care should be taken, how to arrange bathroom and kitchen. In the state parks (check out our list in the box) is usually permitted to camp in, just check in advance if a license is required prior to doing the activity, and fishing. Always let someone know of the family or a close friend about the location where you are going and the day that you want to go back.

Check-list

It is essential to make a list with all the items that you want to take, but it depends on what will be your means of transportation. If it is necessary to charge the material to walk to the location of the camp, only the necessary should be carried so as not to compromise your physical on the walk. But if it is possible to reach the destination by car, the comfort is guaranteed.

See what can not be missing in your list:

Lantern, lanterns, and battery (prefer lamp stack, which are more secure)

In almost all of the campsites it is possible to count on restaurants or coffee shops that provide since the bread of the breakfast in the morning until the pizza dinner, as well as items often “forgotten” by the campers, such as coal, batteries, ice, salt, bread, deck and other. But if your option is to show your culinary skills to family and friends, make a check-list own for the kitchen items. Set the recipe and all necessary ingredients and, whenever possible, give preference for light food and easily digested so as not to compromise their activities during the day. Do not abuse canned and cured meats, which, though practical, are of difficult digestion. Fruits and vegetables are great options. If your and the other tastes allow, replace red meat with soy meat, which, in addition to being more healthy, do not need to be stored under refrigeration.

Tips: if possible, bring a tent reservation in order to use it as a waiver. Here, you’ll be able to save the food and kitchen items so that you do not stay within his tent main. Do not bring glass bottles, even disposable. Also, avoid barbecue grills, electric toasters, and other items that may overload the electrical system of the premises. And use only biodegradable detergents.

Choosing the location

Search for local senior plans, clean, airy, without any stones or twigs, and preferably away from the rivers and beaches, to avoid flooding. In the campgrounds there is the option of light points and sockets; check the distance to these, and the size of your extension, electrical (make sure to verify the voltage). If you make a fire, be very careful not to cause any fire, especially in seasons the driest of the year. Thoroughly clean the place, put stones around the fire and never leave the place with the fire activity. Use only sticks and leaves from the ground and to delete, and then cover all with earth or sand. Do not forget that we have to respect the environment always.Do not collect seedlings and flowers, do not knock down trees (even if small), don’t litter and, whenever possible, pick up the trash that already exists. In the campsites there are drums of waste in various points, locate the nearest tent. And never leave food around the tent, this can attract animals and insects.

Tip: pour the ashes of your fire pit around the tent, this will remove insects such as ants, spiders and other.

Riding the camp

After choosing the location, make a “fine comb” and remove stones, seeds, twigs, and other materials that can stick to the tent. Extend it on the ground, fitting the panels to the frame and pass through appropriate locations, closely following the assembly instructions. During the night, put the tent over the tent to prevent moisture and possible rain. During the day, go with the same to obtain a useful area and covered. Secure the stakes at a 45-degree angle. If the site is sand, opt for greater stakes, with 30 inches or more. Prefer sleeping bags to sheets and blankets, the sleeping bags retain the heat of the body and are easier to clean.

The “policy of the good neighbor” is a common practice in the campgrounds. After all, it is common to forget items such as salt, can-opener and cigarette lighter. Almost always we are promptly met with good will by our neighbors, look for you also be helpful. For those who love music, you need to be respectful in relation to the volume of the sound and the times, as the tents have no sound insulation. Never store gas bottles, cookers or lamps inside the tent, this can cause fire or poisoning.

All ready to go! And now, I can fish?

Reconciling fishing with camping can be one of the greatest adventures in the life of a fisherman. Today there are even expeditions planned by agencies fishing for camping in the middle of the amazon rainforest, and to perform unforgettable fisheries. Most of the campsites has places suitable for fishing, be it on beaches, rivers or ponds. Ask about the fish existing on-site and prepare your equipment. Book also time to play with the kids, family or friends, in addition to other activities or sports. And remember, when you go back to the house, put the tent in the sun to dry it completely. Otherwise, its lifetime will be compromised. I hope that the tips have awakened your adventurous side and do think of an option in choosing the style of your next fishing trips with duration of more than one day. And, as the saying goes: “Take only photographs, leave only footprints and take home only your memories”.
